Jews in Alabama, Episode #5

We claim to have nothing to talk about, and yet still manage to do a podcast over half an hour long. We give our shout-outs, talk about the "Jewish Valentine's Day," our anniversary, Raya's parents' visit, "A Mighty Wind," Eric's return to school, and why Pat Robertson is crazy. (30 minutes, 33 seconds)

Edited 8/24: Forgot to include The SG Show in our list of links. Sorry, Steve and Sam!!!

O man, I just checked out the binary clock. You are a geek Eric. I'll vouch for that...

Of course me on the other hand...

Sad, but true. Oh well. Can't fight your true colors, I suppose...

But Eric, can you figure out the time just by looking at it? If you can just glance at it and tell the time, you're definitely a geek. :)

No, I can't just glance at it the way I would at an analog or digital clock and immediately know the time. I have to think about it, at least a little bit.

Interesting binary geek note: on the show "Futurama," the robot Bender's apartment number is 00100100, which corresponds to the number '36.'

In the ASCII table of keyboard characters/numerical codes, 36 is the number for the symbol '$'. Appropriate for an ethically-challenged, often-thieving robot, no?
