Jews in Alabama, Episode #7

Our longest episode ever!! We talk about being "outed" as podcasters; also, continuing hurricane relief efforts in Birmingham and across the region; Raya's job at the temple and the Rick Recht concert this Friday night; and the very funny movie we saw this weekend. (38 minutes, 39 seconds)

Hey you guys- I just like hearing you mention my name on your show. No real reason to write! You know I love the show.

Whoever is old enough to have watched Romper Room knows how exciting it is to hear their own name... And Raya! This was your podcast!!! While you didn't talk for the first 10 minutes, it was kind of revelatory today, because it explained why we weren't hearing more from you--- you were keeping quiet about all the interesting things that happened to you all week... :)

I googled to find your shul website, and I saw the picture of Raya, who looked nothing like my mental image of her. Those things never pan out...O well...

But great show. The time flies by, I didn't even noticed that the show was longer than usual until the end when I looked at the time bar thingi...

Also what does the secretary of the men's club do exactly... Just wonderin' :-)

we could probably find all sorts of things out by googling, but that would be stalking and would be so wrong...

Lee -- Glad you enjoyed it! Now that I'm "out," there will be no stopping me!!!! What a relief!!!

J -- Sorry my picture disappointed you. :(

So far, the secretary of the Men's Club buys paper goods!

J --

And we're proud of you too! Proud, and a little freaked out! ;) On this week's show, we should talk about googling people -- I have a nice googling story.
